Say goodbye to bloated 500MB Electron farmers and sketchy password inputs. Stealth Idler runs in ~14MB RAM, consumes 0.0% CPU in the tray, and authenticates securely via official Steam Mobile QR.
No web server proxies, no credential harvesting, no game file modifications. Here is how Stealth Idler operates under the hood.
Point your phone's official Steam app at the screen to create an authenticated local session. No plaintext passwords stored, ever.
Automatically parses badge eligibility, tracks remaining card drops, and calculates optimal drop intervals without manual oversight.
Sits in the Windows system tray at ~14MB memory and 0% CPU. Play heavy AAA games or work without sacrificing a single frame.
Measured on Windows 11 64-bit with 49 library games queued.
Compiled to native x86_64 machine code via Rust. No bundled Chromium browser engine.
Uses asynchronous event loops and Windows timer interrupts instead of busy-polling threads.
Zero third-party telemetry, analytics, or remote tracking. Traffic flows only to Steam's official servers.
A technical explanation of how Stealth Idler interacts with Valve's ecosystem without risking your Steam account.
Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) is an automated system that scans process memory and module handles for unauthorized DLL injection while connected to VAC-secured game servers (e.g. CS2, TF2). Stealth Idler never attaches to memory, injects code, or loads cheat drivers.
Stealth Idler simply sends an authorized session handshake to Steam's API stating "User is running AppID 1238840 (Battlefield 1)". Steam acknowledges the session and begins the card drop timer. It is mathematically impossible for VAC to trigger on an official API handshake.
